Thanks for taking the time out to stop by my free little smoothie recipes site! I wanted to have a place where I could share some of my favorite smoothie recipes that have helped me improve my health and the health of others as well. Now you can make smoothies from a variety of different ingredients, but generally I like to stick to the next of frozen and fresh fruit.


This is because fresh fruit allows you to get the extra sweetness that comes with the taste of fresh fruit, while frozen fruit can make your smoothie a lot more consistent and thicker, which most people tend to prefer. But there are other ingredients and types of smoothies that you can make to further improve your health....what are they?

Green Smoothies!


What are green smoothies? These delicious little treats are essentially fruit smoothies that are blended along with some vegetables, and particularly, greens What type of greens? Any that you want! But I tend to use a combination on spinach, chard, wheat grass, and kale. These are some of the most nutritionally dense foods on the planet, but they are not the tastiest thing to eat on there own. I also recommend that you only use organic produce and ingredients whenever possible when you are making your yummy smoothies, why? Well, traditionally grown produce tends to have a lot of nasty toxins and pesticides both on and sometimes in the produce. 


Organic produce by law cannot be grown using these chemicals, so your smoothies will not only taste better, but they will be healthier too! Your body will thank you!
