Without having a control over the personal computers and the OS’s all around the world, Microsoft came up with a brilliant idea to cope with the problem of users being stuck to some of the previous versions of Windows and not upgrading them.

Being one of the rare large internet companies that still had the trend from last century, Microsoft released new versions of its operative system throughout the years, and it had a different name every time. It cannot compare to Facebook for example, or Gmail, where you can’t see Facebook Vista or Gmail XP, but only one Facebook that gets upgraded for all the users. Just like every internet service in the world, there will no longer be versions of Microsoft’s OS and everything will be upgraded as soon as a new update comes.

Windows 10 is the final version of Windows, and users of Windows 7 and 8 can upgrade it for free.  The plan is to have the same operative system all over the world (from the same company) where all the updates, new features, tools and everything that Microsoft comes up with to be available for every Windows user.

Why is this happening and why people are still using some of the older operative systems instead of getting the latest one?

The reason goes a while back, and it is in Windows 95, which was released after Windows 3.1. It was a massive improvement over the previous version, and Windows made a fortune out of it. People were paying up to $320 for it, which at that time and because of the leap in technology it was normal. And ever since that leap, the rest versions are just a minor upgrade of the same things, several new useful features but if you think about it, it’s all the same.

So why would some XP users change to 7, 8 or 10 when XP offers the similar options?

According to the latest study and facts from Wikipedia, there are more users using XP than Windows 8 and 8.1 combined. With Windows 8 being the latest released version so far, this fact is surprising and a bit of annoying for the company.

One of the bigger problems with this are the security measurements which Microsoft updated from XP. As you can see from the image, there are almost 16% of computers running on Windows XP which are completely vulnerable to all kinds of attacks and the information that they possess are open to the world.

With 4 or sometimes even more versions that are constantly being used by the world, the Microsoft developers have to take care of this issue as well.

What is good in this situation is that some of the best slots that are found on the internet, or to be more exact, on www.SlotsWise.com can be played on every version of Windows, and you can enjoy the games at its finest, claim some big rewards and have a lovely time regardless of the Windows.
