Online shopping is a great boost for people who work long hours each day and hardly have time to shop. Also for elderly or
housebound people and people like me , who now live in such a tiny place that l can walk down to the river and feed the
ducks, but l can´t go to a large store because there simply aren't any.!!!!! It would cost us more in petrol/gas to get to
the nearest big grocery store than i does to shop online and pay for it to be delivered.
l must admit l am so happy that my husband loves cooking and now loves buying all he needs online. Yippee!!! He´s welcome to
that job.!
i´m still quite new to online shopping mall but Amazon books are a wonder in themselves.
l´ve recently got used to the delights of scouring pages of dresses, shoes, coats,, all the wonderful choices that pass
before my eyes on a computer screen. (not much different really from looking through the pages of a catalogue all those years
ago.

A friend put me in touch with a site i´d never heard of recently called
l could hardy believe the choices and the affordable prices for such quality goods.
l should have known, though. Before we moved back to Britain, last year, we were surrounded by new Chineese shops opening up
all over the place. They sold perfume, jewelry, makeup, anything for your hair even wigs.! Everything for your nails
.....childrens clothes, the store seemed to go on forever when l went into my 1st one.
It was difficult to walk past one of these stores, they were so colourful, lots of Oriental things , but lots and lots of
European things too. l was so disappointed to come back o Britain and not see any Chineese shops. So it was with great
delight that l typed into the new site ......... l was certainly not disappointed.!!!
Nothing can really beat a day out at the big stores with a girlfriend but if it´s not possible for any of us. , then online
shopping is the way to go. Delivered to your door and you can send it back if there´s a problem. What more could we girls ask
for.?
To start talking about the Philippines, I should always begin by sharing about the Malls. Malls bloom like Mushrooms
particularly within the National Capital Region. No one would believe the poverty state of the Philippines just to see the
Malls. They are big and huge. In terms of shopping malls, I got nothing to compare with my own country. In my case, shopping
malls are only thought to be accommodated to the rich. Therefore, an ordinary class of people like us would go to shopping
malls as rarely as visiting the zoo or museum. Anyway let us not talk about my country.
But in the Philippines regardless of the classification of standard of life, everyone goes to the mall. Except those are from
the slum area (squatter areas). Pause! Or they go as frequent as I go to shop at malls in Burma.
At first, I did not feel comfortable to visit Malls. And I thought that items in the Malls are too much expensive just like
in my country. So I rarely went to shop at huge malls. Rather I would just drop by the nearest grocery shop my apartment
every time I came back from my classes. Anyway being a single man, the grocery that I needed to buy is almost the same item.
The kinds of items were not even outnumbered my finger hands. So I usually did shopping at the grocery.
Gradually, by learning from my friends and being exposed to malls a few times to watch movies, I came to know that item in
the malls are not more expensive compared to grocery shop. So later on, I decided to shop at the mall more frequent provided
I got a space of time to travel. Then little by little, I began to find the profit of shopping mall in the malls. Though by
shopping at SM Malls we are enriching the Henry Sy and his company, the profits that I have by shopping at malls are as
follows:
1. Convenient Transportation
The transportation is quite convenient. Just like me, I am not able to own my own vehicle so taking a taxi or riding on a bus
is my always means to commute from place to place. I do not need to know that much about riding a jeep or bus to get me to
the mall. Though I later could learn how to communicate with the drivers in Filipino, I just traveled it not knowing the
language several times. Because they always have signs on the front of the bus or jeep that would tell you what SM mall they
are bypassing. And for more convenience, most malls are situated along the main highway road which is known as EDSA in Metro-
Manila. So even without knowing the language, I am able to reach the mall I would like to go.
2. Convenient Shopping
In the shopping malls itself, there are complete department store. If I would like to shop for groceries, there it is.
Normally, department stores such as grocery section can be easily found on the ground floor of the mall. If I want Movies,
there it is. If I would like to play games there it is, normally on the top floor of the mall. I should say everything is
there, including foods, apparel, books, cosmetics, etc.

3. Convenient Business
Going to the mall is like all in one. At the mall itself I could pay my bills: internet bill, telephone bill, electric bill,
water bill, and banking. The sale attendants are more polite than the “Sari-Sari” stores in the community. Sometimes, I react
with the Sari-Sari stores nearby my apartment. Because they never start asking me what I need! So I would stand tall until
they would ask me what I would like to have. I always say who got more to be proud of between the buyer and the seller.
Unlike the Sari-Sari stores, sale attendants at malls are so polite and communicable. That is extra!
4. Convenient Entertainment
Though the malls are huge, the entire mall is fully air-conditioned. Since the Philippines got a hot weather. They used to
joke over the Philippines weather that “There are two seasons in the Philippines, one is the hot season and the other is
hotter season.”It is entirely pleasant to walk in the malls. I love that thing! Provided that I got enough time to do so. And
you know most of all, the girls in the malls are pretty. Seductive. Sexy. Good looking. Beautiful.. Ahem.. Happy Malling!
