This page was designed to honor the memory of Walter Lewis Gastin jr or as most of us knew him "Huey" Huey was special in so many ways. He was a loving husband and father. His children adored him. He was very artistic and enjoyed working with wood especially a hobby he began not that long ago, making Native American love flutes. Like everything he did Huey devoted his time and energy to making the things he created perfect. If it did not meet his standards he would work at it until it did. Any project he took on was that way. He helped the kids make school projects and he never ceased to amaze me with the things he would come up with. He will be missed by those who loved him. I know in my heart he has gone on to a better place where there is no pain and he is free to do all the things that his earthly body would not allow.
