What is a Peregine Falcon?

The Peregine Falcon is a beatiful but endangered species. It is unique for its beak that is used to kill its prey by severing the spinal cord. An average Peregine Falcon is about two pounds and its wing span approximately three feet. To distinguish a adult Peregine Falcon to a adolescent Peregine Falcon is that the adult Falcon has a dark grey back and stripes on the side of his face unlike a young Peregine Falcon it has a dark brown back. To know whether the a Peregine Falcon is a male or female you would need to like at the size of the bird and not its physical attributes because the male and female Peregine Falcon look alike the female Peregine is about a third larger than the male.
