The game between Chelsea and Leicester City FC has come and gone, and the ripples are still on. The outcome of the game of 7th of September between winners of the last two years and those of last year left the champion of the last year at the 3rd position. But, it relegated the champion of the last years to the 17th position.

As revealed by latest betting tips, the game was of a very high intensity. While Leicester was playing the game without their star midfielder, he was wearing the colours of Chelsea and was sitting amongst the substitutes. Chelsea also had the confidence of having all their major players back from injury. But it was Ngolo Kante and his compatriot Bakayoko that started in midfield, while Fabregas was pushed to the left flank and Edin Hazard left on the bench.

The game started with a somewhat slow rhythm, with the two teams playing it safe, since no team wants to run out and make mistakes that will cause them goals. While Leicester was solid on the back and allowed Vardy to make those dangerous runs, Chelsea started their usual system of trying to build up the play from behind to get to the front.

Just when it seemed the two teams will leave for the break without a goal, Alvaro Morata, arrived from the back of Wes Morgan to nod in the searching pass from Cesar Azpilicueta. That gave the blues the lead in the encounter.

Chelsea was coming from a record that has not seen them win any premier league game away in September in the last four seasons. They needed to make a statement, so they continued pressing after the break. This paid off when Ngolo Kante drove in a powerful shot from outside the goal area to give the blues the second goal.

But this was not to be the end of the match, as a clumsy challenge on Vardy by Courtois gifted the foxes the penalty that was converted to make it 1-2. Their efforts to find an equalizer were to no avail. Chelsea on their own had a lot of efforts cut short by the foxes defence, even while Edin Hazard was mesmerizing the fans with skilful moves. The game eventually ended 1-2 in favour of Chelsea.
