Where I've Been

Where were you born and raised? Where have you spent significant parts of your life? What were you doing? What was the most interesting thing that's happened to you? What brought you to your present location? (Be sure to change the color of all the text you add to something other than this brownish hue. This is only in this color to indicate that it's text you should replace with your own.)

My Life as an Educator

What are you like as a teacher? How long have you been at it? What's your favorite grade and/or subject to teach? Describe a couple of lessons you've done that were fun and satisfying... the kind that make you happy to be a teacher. If you've got an interesting story about a lesson that went disastrously, you might share it here as well. (If you're not a classroom teacher, modify this part to fit whatever you are.)

When I'm Not Working...

What do you like to do after school and in the summer? Hobbies? Favorite TV shows and movie genres? Types of books you read? Outdoor things? Family activities? Organizational ties? Use this space to show your after-hours self.

Web Sites I Like

Do you already have some favorite spots on the web? Use this area to share them with the rest of us. Include at least three and make sure the links work.

  • The EarthCam page provides links to hundreds of live cameras all over the globe
  • Depression Glass on E-Bay is someplace I check daily. This links directly to auctions ending today. A dangerous hobby.
  • Science Daily Magazine goes beyond what's in the newspapers.
  • The Art Bell Page Wacky, end-of-the-world baloney to inoculate my kids from.
  • The S.C.O.R.E. pages provide links to resources for teachers across the curriculum.
