RostSMU is favourably situated in the centre of the city with 1.5 million population, the capital of Northern Caucasius, the seaport of 5 seas. The theoretical departments and basic clinics are located within the green parks. There are 5 students hostels with good conditions for living. Every year about 6,500 students from Russia and former Soviet republics, Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America study at the University. The University works in training the personnel, high qualificated and specialized medical curement and scientific researches.
