Rosh Hashanah is the Day's Judgement. Our sages have taught us that most of mankind goes into front from the heavenly court, one by one, like sheep being counted by their sheperd. Things are determined with this day. Livelihood, health insurance and indeed, life are typical determined with this day. So it is imperative for all of us that individuals attempt to search for approaches to find favor in the eyes of G-d and hopefully be seen meritorios within our judgment. Our sages have outlined certain methods to accomplish that goal, and I will try and share a number of them.

Rosh Hashanah Cards

1. Judge Favourably: The Gemarah in Shabbos,127b, teaches us that when

one judges others in the favourable light, than Hashem, will judge him

in the favourable light. Rabbeinu Yonah writes that by judging

favourably causes all of one's sins to be taken off the heavenly

scales. There's no surer way to gain divine grace when compared with not having any transgressions on our slate.

2. Have Concern with the Judgement: The Mishnah Berurah, 581:2, writes that

a person has to become packed with fear and awe and thru this one will probably be

meritorious in judgement. The mere proven fact that we recognize His ability

to gauge us can be a merit for people. If an individual is on trial and demonstrates

he has no respect for the court which is judging him, automatically the

court will appear at his case in the more serious way.

3. Take part in the Community: The truly amazing sage Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel,

called the Alter from Kelm, taught that when on really wants to have a good

decree, you must make himself part of the Jewish nation, and therefore

he should make himself indispensable for the nation. By being an energetic

part of the city, one not only advantages of the security of

the community but additionally can make it as they say impossible to replace him,

therefore he's certain to be inscribed inside the book of life.

4.Be Forgiving: The Gemarah in Rosh Hashanah, 17a, teaches us that when

the first is not exacting on those that cause him pain, compared to Hashem (G-D)

will not be exacting on him and definately will overlook all of his

transgressions. Therefore the first approach to secure a great decree on Rosh

Hashanah is always to attempt to live and eat this lesson. If someone else has wronged you,

don't hold a grudge, be forgiving. True, easier, but

the reward of getting Him be forgiving with us surely justifies the

hardship.

5. Be Merciful: The Gemarah in Shabbos 157b, lets us know another way to

merit good judgement. That when one shows mercy for other people, he will

merit to possess mercy on him from heaven. Since it is extremely hard to

be completely righteous, it is incumbent for us to try and awaken

heavenly mercy.

Hopefully these ideas happen to be helpful, and that most of us be

signed and sealed for a year of prosperity, health happiness and of course, life.
