If you have a reptile, you are familiar with the dietary needs of your pet. Many domestically kept reptiles require a diet of rodents, or a diet supplemented by them. To some, this can be a bit hard to swallow. To others, just another day on the food chain. Having delved pretty deep into the reptile world myself, the rising cost of providing meals for my scaled friends became quite the strain on my wallet. However, the need for them to feed did provide the spark of an idea. Many people who feed live or frozen rodents may entertain the idea of breeding at home to provide their pets with a seemingly less costly alternative. However, as many reptile enthusiasts do, they soon realize how much of an inconvenience their reptiles meals can be to produce.
