Solar Urticaria,Polymorphic Light Eruption, Actinic Prurigo are some of the medical conditions which cause abnormal allergic reactions to sunlight, UV rays or some visible lights. Symptoms of these conditions upon exposure may include: severe hives, swelling, burning, itching, light-headedness, headache, nausea and vomiting. Symptoms of these conditions vary in intensity for each person and the symptoms can become severe and life threating in some persons.

All of these conditions require sun avoidance and UV protection on a daily basis.
