Hi! I'm Ruth. Welcome to my website! I've been powerlifting for 13 years, in which time I have broken 69 records. I was 38 years old when I began, which seemed old to some, but I determined to give it my all. I left a lifestyle of drinking and partying behind me, and began a new life of healthy nutrition and exercise. Now, at age 51, I'm still going strong, with no regrets about the path I've chosen!
Let me tell you a little about myself. Yes, I am a powerlifter. But that is not all that I do. I work fulltime, own and manage commercial properties, including Fountain of Youth, a beauty salon/spa. I studied and am certified in cosmetology, and also as a personal trainer. I've even done a bit of modeling. At home, I am "mom" to 4 rescue dogs, Oliver, Emma, Domino, and Jupiter. I have one son, and two grandsons. At work, I'm former secretary of the Women's Committee, and am currently the only woman, and secretary of the Haz-Mat Team.
