My Blog
Friday, 11 April 2008

My name is Kendra. I am 29 and a mother of 3 beautiful daughters. Adriana 9, Eliyah will be 7 next month, and Kyrie 18 months. I have been married for 10 years in April.

I had an awful experience towards the end of my last pregnancy. I had bronchitis with asthma 2 times in the last 2 months of my pregnancy. I was tired and my ribs were hurting so bad. I had a hard time walking and would be out of breath within 15 feet from going to point A to point B. I had begged my Dr. to induce me and they agreed.

Kyrie made her entrance into the world on Sept. 29, 2006 at 1:52 pm. At a whooping 10lbs 4 oz. She was 1 day past her due date. And I had had a Ultrasound exactly 1 month before her birth and she was only a 5 lb little baby. Whoo good thing they didn't let her bake to much longer.

My OB Dr. was so surprised at her birth weight. He told me "Oh shes going to be a nice little 8 pound baby" Which I was excited about that because I had already had a 9lb baby and didn't want to go through that again. Well I guess I didn't. lol

I don't think any woman should make a choice to have a Tubal Ligation during her pregnancy. If I could I would go back and change it all over again. I was so tired and thought I am happy with my three girls. But as soon as I woke up from surgery I knew I was wrong to do it. My husband didn't fight me to have it done and didn't stop me either. But when I was rolled back into my room and saw him holding our last little girl and the look on his face....I knew I made the BIGGEST mistake of my life.

So now I am on the journey of trying to get it reversed. There are other factors besides wanting to hear the little pitter patter of little feet. It is called PTLS (Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome). It will cost around $5000 to have it reversed.. Most insurance companies do not cover a tubal reversal. I wish I had known that also.

If you are able to help me on my Tubal reversal journeyI would be so greatful. I have a paypal account. Also any money that goes over what is needed will be donated to another woman who is wanting a Tubal reversal. I will also try and place a ticker on her so you can track my progress.

www.paypal.com  my email is raven9801@verizon.net If I can get 5,000 people to donate $1 a piece I would have enough. I am also saving some on my own.

Thank you everyone.Smile Please feel free to leave a comment
