I think that electronic cigarette market at present is heated up with controversies. There have been many claims that electronic cigarette use among the youth is getting out of hand. Whilst I am not one who would disagree, I whole heartedly support this idea. It is true that there are many kids out there who are now vaping than before. A recent study shows that e cigarettes usage among middle and high school students has increased over the last year. As a result there has been a call for the FDA to regulate the manufacturers so that they can curb this issue.
This means that kids will not be able to access e cigs. But what really shocked me was that in more than half the states there are absolutely no laws that ban kids from buying e cigs. Then it seems that the FDA and the smokeless cigarette manufacturers are not to blame. I think that if the states managed to implement the laws that ban sale of e cigarettes to kids, the teenagers’ electronic cigarette consumption ratio would decreases consequently. Another thing is that they say it is now easier for kids to be able to buy e cigarettes, I say in this situation retailers are to blame.
