Ramadan is a truly amazing month in Dubai and all over many Arabic nations and Muslim countries. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is dedicated to fasting during sunlight hours, for example 4.30am until 7.00pm every day. No eating, drinking, smoking or adult activities are permitted. Ramadan is a spiritual time here in Dubai for local Muslims, and all of the expat community. This is my second Ramadan in the Middle East and I believe I am very lucky to observe and part of this spiritual experience.
