Raining Myths Australian Shepherds

About Me

Thanks for visiting Raining Myths! I am located in Graham, WA, just a little southeast of Tacoma. Percy is my first Australian Shepherd. Before he came into my life, I was not dedicated to any one breed. I shared my home with a yellow lab, Achilles, and Hector, who is a breed all of his own, both of whom I rescued from local shelters. Then in 2003, Jackaroo, an Australian Cattle Dog, sort of fell into my little family. Jackaroo was my transition dog from simple pets and family members, to performance dogs (and family members). We met Diana Hefti (of Glen Ey Aussies-see link below) in our first agility class, and thus began my journey into the world of Aussies and dog shows.

Jackaroo and I started out competing in agility, and he also did some rally obedience, but after awhile, Jackaroo decided that he didn't really like dog shows. He loved being around the people, but he didn't really like meeting dogs when he was on leash, and he got a little stressed when in the agility ring as well. We both decided that he would be happier being retired, and maybe just going along for the ride. Even before Jackaroo retired, I wanted another dog for agility. When Diana said she was breeding her gorgeous black tri, Magic, to Kathy Marta's Matty of BKM Kennels, I decided that the time was right for a puppy. Percy came to me in October of 2006, and we have a been a team ever since. I can't thank Diana and Kathy enough for my lovely boy.

Percy is available for stud to approved homes. See his Breedings, page for information on litters.

Please enjoy your visit to Raining Myths, and come back often!
