The Buzz on Biomes

Introduction

           We have discussed weather and climate as well as all the factors that contribute to the various types we encounter on Earth.  Our investigation of ecological succession and ecosystems taught us about relationships between organisms and their environments and how these organisms find their place in the world. 

           To add to the knowledge you already have about the interaction of organisms and where they live, you  and your group will be investigating one particular land environment or biome.   You will learn what a biome is and then choose one you are particularly interested in learning about.  Through research you will determine all the special components of your chosen biome and create a project to share with the class.
