Most of the indicators and moving averages used for intraday trading have serious design flaws. They only work during perfect market conditions and only for a very short period of time. After the perfect market conditions are over, they lose money faster than you can imagine.
As experienced veteran traders, we do not know of a single trader who can make any indicator work, and if they did they are probably broke now. Most professional traders trade from either a bar chart or simply a price quote and nothing more. This is it, and there is a good reason why we do what we do. When we tested the following indicators, all we came up with were random results that lost. No matter whether you buy or short the trade signal, the trade will be a loss.
After trading for years, we could not find a single indicator or any combination thereof (for example: ADX rising with Moving Averages crossover) that works in the least, or that can give a consistent result. Every available indicator falls into one of two categories: average (trend following) or oscillator (counter-trend trading). All of the indicators are just different variations of a couple of main indicators that were designed by the same people years ago. Who are you going to trust on this?
