             Pacman-The Best Quality Arcade Game

Before Namco developed Pacman as an arcade game, there were many other arcade games that highlighted mazes and passageways and were quite adventuresome to play. However, with the release of Pacman, there arose a new enthusiasm with this arcade game. It soon came to be called the best quality arcade game because it stood apart from the other standardised arcade games that had nothing more to offer than moving through dark mazes and finding hidden objects.

Pacman became one of the simplest games to understand because all one had to do was devour colourful dots and avoid pestering monsters. It neither has destructive arms to play with nor is aimed at destroying enemies. All one has to do was eat up dots and evade ghosts to prevent losing lives. In effect, what happens is people instantly take to liking this game, whether young or old, girl or boy.

The game becomes more interesting with each level. Since the movement of ghosts seems totally haphazard, the dual task of saving oneself as well as gobbling up dots becomes quite tough. But this is exactly why this game is considered the ultimate quality arcade game.

It becomes an addiction to the players to maintain both tasks- to eat and save- and even the constant losing of lives by touching ghosts do not dampen spirits because the game does not proceed to another level unless the player, through pacman, is able to eat up all dots. Thus this graphically sharp and uncomplicated game is a hot favourite.
