Pink Ribbon Story

I came up with Pink Ribbon Story after writing my experience that I went through with my mother. I held back for several years my emotions about my mother. I place so much blame on myself and I was so angry and enrage that she died. My mother left me when I turned 20 and I know death at any age isn't easy, however, when you are a child you really can't grasp it and when you are much older, you expect. But when you are  only 20, you understand what death is, but you never think that life could end so tragically with a parent. Please read This Is My Story. All of us have stories to share, this is mine. I want so much for us to find a cure for this disease. I want so much to reach out to everyone that I can who is and went through this and tell them that they are not alone.

Fact: One and Eight  Women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.

With early detection and proper treatment, chances of conquering this deadly disease is great!
I care about breast cancer because we are all in a way affected
by this disease. Whether it is someone we know personally or
from a celebrity. Cancer can strike anyone at any given time.
However, knowing all of this, still women and men are succumbing to this disease. Some simply don't know that they have it, some
choose to ignore it, and some can not afford the treatment.
Before we can ever move forward to find a cure, we must first
take a step back and figure how we can help each other. It should
not matter about race, economic standings, male, female, you and
and old, we are all human and we all stand a chance to fight and
win.
