PESAGI HALL

Pesagi Hall is a large college dormitory that was built in 1965. Pesagi sits at the far northeast corner of campus at East Central University. It is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of East 10th Street and N. Highland Street in Ada, Oklahoma. Highland Street changes into Stadium Drive south of 10th street. Oak Hills Golf and Country Club is due east. The front entrance of Pesagi Hall faces directly south, overlooking its own parking area followed by a more recently built residence hall by the name of Tiger Commons. Just south of this location is Stadium Drive, which is winding in nature and separates Pesagi Hall and Tiger Commons from another dorm within walking distance by the name of Pontotoc Hall.

Pesagi Hall is split into five sections and includes a huge lobby with a lounge at the center of the building on the ground floor. Pesagi Hall, which is named for the Chickasaw word that means "teacher," is four-stories and can house up to 420 students. It was built to be used by either male or females depending on the need for space. Currently, Pesagi Hall is coed and used as ECU's First Year Experience residence hall. All freshmen are required to live in Pesagi Hall which also features a coffee shop/convenience store called Outtakes.
