Bahrain is...

Bahrain is unique, nowhere else in the Middle East is quite so business-friendly. Bahrain is Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 small islands in the Arabian Gulf midway between the Qatar peninsula and Saudi Arabia. Bahrain Island is pear shaped land mass 48 km. long and 16 km. wide. Bahrain is connected to Saudi Arabia by 23-km causeway, which opened in November 1986.

  Although the official language is Arabic, farsi (Persian) is also much used. English is widely spoken and is the principal language of commerce. The population of Bahrain is 930,891. The majority of the population is concentrated in the northern part of the country.
