Abstract

    In life, our only guarantee is death. In every culture there are set of rules of how our dead must be buried and these rules are established based on the supernatural beliefs the culture carries. I have always been interested in death has as it is the unknown; once you die you can’t come back to explain what happened. I am comparing these two cultures because I am part Chippewa Native American and I have always wanted to develop a better understanding of their cultural practices. I have also enjoyed the elaborate practice of the Ancient Egyptian culture.
