The 11 a side football jouney started when i was still living in Portugal, my mom had just left to go work and live in South Africa, and I was living alone with my sister in my Ganny´s house. I can say that this was one of the funnest years of my life, It was a good year, I loved the soccer team I played on, we only lost our first 2 game´s and never lost again, I would go out clubbing nearly every weekend with my friends and I was having a good time at school and after school. But this is about the soccer so now I´m going to tell you about that wonderful journey, our training sessions where every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, "we" the juveniles used to train with the juniors, so our team trough out the session became really strong because we had really good training obstacles, the junior team was really good, but didn't have enough players to make a complete team, so we where 2 teams in one, so some of the juveniles used to play two times a week. I would play most of them, but didn't play all because the juniors that we had where mostly defenders and midfielder´s and I was a defender and I had a very good team mate that was playing in his spot. The session started really bad for our team, we had three games late to play and had just started training, we didnt play 2 of them because we didn't have transport, we lost our first game where we lost 1-0 and it was an own goal by one of our defenders, I sat on the bench most of that game, I had ripped a peace of skin in one of the trainings and was still recovering, it was one of my team mates that tried to get the ball from me but instead e got my leg and ripped it with one of his spikes, we also lost our second match by 3-2 where the other team was much fitter then our team, I also sat that game on the bench, I was still not 100% but I at least played half the match. The rest of the games that session where won easily, our team developed well and we became strong as one, we won the teams that beat us in the second round easily, I played all the games on the start up line, and played started some of the junior matches. I was really fit and a very good defender. We lost all of our cup games because our caption and also head of the team in the defense got red carded stupidly, and we had no one to replace him, so our game plan went down the water. We where second in our league because the team that won us in the first round 3-2 only lost 2 games and one of them was the second game with us. It was a very good year and would love to do it again anytime.
