Bless me God for giving me

Freedom so I can live

Forever free

My God, can make the water part

And make a great big mountain top

Thank you, Lord, for giving me

The freedom I hold, eternally

Bless me God who in the night

Watches over me to make sure

I am alright

My God, thank you for the wind on my face

And all the flowers and the trees

But most of all

You gave me my freedom and made me free

Bless me God who created me

In the storm, let it take no part

In letting the people not see

There is a power in God's love

I want them to believe

And I thank you God, everyday

He gave me my freedom

I cannot look away

I am forever free

For The Lord thy God

Is the one who comforts me
