Hello World, Christine here reaching out trying to connect and find help, hope and some support for my personal situation here in the great and dusty city of Las Vegas, NV. But let me tell you a bit about myself first and let you decide if you find it a worthy enough cause. To start with I am divorced, 46, with two grown children, five dogs, disabled from two forms of arthritis, tendonitis in both hands and elbows, a rare blood disorder called Hashimoto's thyroiditis, high cholesteral, high blood pressure, degenerative joint disease, scoliosis, and a mild form of manic depression. I am all alone here in Las Vegas because my youngest decided he wanted to move back to California two years ago and live with his sister and finish school. Well, that left me all by myself for the first time in my life. I have been completely alone before. And it has been rough and nice at the same time. I have found that I actually enjoy being alone but I do miss the human connections sometimes. I have my dogs, three of them are rescue dogs from various shelters in the area, there will be photos added later, but I have Bandit-he is a Zuchon, Angel-she is a Silky Cocker, Peanut-she is Shih Tzu/ Mini Schnauzer mix, Chaser-he is a Maltipoo and Nova-he is a Lhasa mix with god only knows. Bandit and Angel are my breeding pair and they just had puppies in Febuary, six of the little babes, four boys and two girls. 

Now normally I would not be doing anything such as this get help but I am up against a rock and a wall right now. Since December of last year, I have had the misfortune of trying to help others in need of a place to live and found myself victimized by con artist and theives of the most sinester forms. Those that come in the disguise of Friends. It started with me getting arrested for a seven year old ticket for making an unlawful U-turn on a highway just outside of Pahrump in 2001. I had completely forgotten about that silly ticket, but it caught up with me a week before Christmas and I spent two and half days in jail waiting form this new Friend, to pay the ticket for me and get me out. Her name was Angela Garcia. I had to trust her with some personal information to help her get me out of jail because if anyone has ever been in jail, knows there is only so much you can do from the inside. Well, anyway, she got the ticket paid for me using my Visa Debit card and she did nothing more than that for a long time. I put my trust in her and believed she was a good person. Well, I got very ill shortly after that and was completely out of it, barely knew what was going on most of the time, could not get out of bed and to rely on this young woman to take care of me and the house, and the bills. Well, unknow to me at the time, she was pretending to be me, and finding all sorts of ways of getting out of making the payments on the bills like the mortgage, water bill, power, telephone, internet, cable and so on. She even let my Auto Insurance Lapse and now i have to pay the DMV $250 more dollars for not having coverage for a month or more. Now, I caught her using my personal informaton in April to have gas turned on at another address and when I confronted her on this, she screamed and yelled and tried her damnest to make it sound like I was not seeing what I thought I was seeing. Well, she was very wrong and knew I had busted her for identity theft and was going to turn her into the police. She could not move fast enough to get herself and her husband out of my house. that was over two months ago. Now, I am starting to feel and see the damages she left behind. I am five months behind on the mortgage, and the same in all of the utilities and now I have no van, but that is another story altogther. I have made a report but so far the police have done nothing to pursue the situtation and I am trying to find an attorney to go after this woman and her husband for fraud.              Now, since that time, I tried to help another couple that were friends of a close family friend. this couple was on the streets, having lost their home in the crash of the economy, but there was more to it I found out, after they moved in. Within the first week, things started to disappear from my home. Like my DVD's, there was only 20 of them, my stereo, and my DVD player, along with some collecters stamps of mine that were not worth much except to a collector. Now, I busted them on this and they screamed "Foul Play" on the part of our mutual Friend. Claiming he came in while i was out or asleep and took these items. Well, I was not born  under a rock and I was not born at night. I called the police to try and get them arrested for the stealing but I was promptly informed that unless I witnessed it myself or there were other people to back me up on the accusation, they would or could do nothing. I could evict them and that would take up to two more weeks. Well, after many hours of these two yelling and screaming profanities at me, making threats of kinds, including, """"""my van up, a 97 Plymouth Grand Voyager, that I had saved for six months to buy last year after my ford Windstar was resposessed. I had gotten my Social Security Disability and SSI back pay and paid up all my bills and bought this van. And some custome work done on it to suite my disabilities. You see, I am not able to walk much and not very far when i can walk. I am very restricted to how far and when I am able to walk anywhere. I rarely can even go food shopping on my own. But that is not the point. I bought this van because I needed it to be mobile and to find work and be independant to a point. Now, that is gone, wrecked by the last two tenants I had, because they decided they deserved it for some reason or they were pissed cause I had them evicted for smoking dope in my house or for the fact that they were stealing from me and I busted them, it really does not matter. They stole in right in front of me, I could do nothing to stop them, except call the police again.  Now this time, the police took 45 minutes to come and take a report and that was only after I made a complaint to a supervisor and told them I as home bound and disabled. So, now this is where I stand. No Van to get around in, no water because the bill was not paid for five months, the house could go into foreclosure any day now because I can not make the huge payment the mortgage company wants me to play catch up. And I have no where to go. No family to turn to and the legal system has but nearly failed me on every turn. 

I am looking for the money to pay the mortgage company $1000.00 for the next three months, have them do a remodification on the loan, readjust the interest rate and then the payments will go down to less than $700 a month. And I need another van that I can drive to do the work I do, which is a Telecommuting Virtual Assistant. I also make custom quilts and some laundry when my hands and legs work. I am not asking for hand outs, I am only asking for assistance because I have no one else to help me. Obama's houseing plan somehow has managed to leave people like me out of the loop. i dont qualify because I am not working per say a regular job, but rather I am self employed and most of my money is not recordable, it is cash. the only accountable income I can prove, is my SSD.  And that is a mere $614 a month. 

I am still looking for good folks to rent the spare rooms out to but I am not sure that are any left out there in the world. But I have to keep an open mind and pray for the best outcome. Being a victim is one thing, but having to pay the price for someone being just plain mean and greedy is another. I have never in my life stolen anything or robbed anyone of even a glass of water. And I stil try to help those in need. Only to burned by those I am helping. I wish I could do more sometimes but I am not able to. Like I used to foster dogs and cats. but as my disabilities have progressed, so has the loss of my motor skills to get around and manage things. like I used to.
