I believe that members of congress should have a limited term of their position. After looking through The Congress web site I found that there are over 90 members with 20 years or more at perspective positions. I feel if someone is serving "the people" at what point do they lose touch with "the people" that elected them in the first place? Someone that has been in office since the mid-late 1970's is most likely not going to know how it is to be an average American anymore. But since the people that would have the vote on the term of a congressmen(women) is The Congress, then its up to the "The People" to not re-elect the incumbents that have been in office for a large amount of time. Especially if you look at the last few years and what America has become, I say let's start fresh, and vote in younger if not newer people into office, and retire the life-long politicians that lost touch with the American people!
