| I have been working in the Integrated Learning Center for six years. The Integrated Learning Center is a self contained classroom for students with severe to profound disabilities. The disabilities can be Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Diabilities, Mental Retardation, Health Impairments and others. I enjoy working with this population of students. I enjoy learning how to better serve students with disabilities. I have worked at Chinook Middle School for the last 15 years. Before becoming a teacher I worked in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program as a Sign Language Interpreter. | |||
| My Phoenix Experience | |||
| I have
enjoyed my experience at the University
Of Phoenix. The Online coes were a great experience. I found
every professor to be knowledgable and ready to answer my questions. I
found the work to be challenging and more than I expected but not
overwhelming. The best thing about going to college online was the
Learning Teams. I had a great group of other students to work with in
every class and made some good online friends. Even though I worked
full time I was able to keep up with my coursework. If I needed help
my teammates were there for me. I would reccomend the University of Phoenix to anyone
seeing a higher degreee. In the future I will return to Phoenix to
pursue my Doctorate degree. I will miss my classmates. Thanks Phoenix! |
