This is an 8 hole Purple Martin House, each room is 6 inches x 6 inches x 6 inches, the entrance hole meets the World Wildlife Federation standards for this type of bird, and is set at 1 1/2 inches above the floor. Each room has drainage and ventilation holes and there are ventilation holes in the gable ends of the attic.
The roof, superstructure, and second floor are all removable for spring cleaning. The stain used on the exterior only is envirofriendly stain there is no stain, wood glue, sylicone or other harmful materials used on the inside
