Do you need employees trained as Notaries Public?

Some people believe that it is easy to become a Notary Public, but it is easier to get in trouble doing illegal things as a Notary Public than it is to become one, when you don't know the laws, procedures, ethics and rules that a Notary Public should comply with.

A NOTE about our fees in comparison to other classes provided by others.  Remember Class Training is not the same from provider to provider.  You don't go to the local grocery store  and buy bananas, peanut butter and steak for the same price, so don't expect to pay the same price for classes from different providers.   Even two cars standing side by side may look the same on the outside, but their motors and option features on the inside of the car can mean the difference between paying hundreds and perhaps thousands of dollars more for one car than the other, but it's your choice which  motor and  options you want.

We take pride in our professional in person training experience to provide you not only proper and extensive training  but answers to your questions that will insure that you feel confident in performing the acts of a Notary Public with peace of mind of knowing you have received professional training that when followed will keep you out of trouble and help you become successful.

Pre-Paid Registration covers Training and Manual for individuals who are already a Commissioned Notary Public. We provide a Ten (10%) Percent Discount for Groups of ten or more employees such as school, bank, or credit union employees.

Training is completed in one day and includes training in Eleven (11) Specialized Categories with Certificates of Completion with your photo presented at end of class:

     1) Statutes/Laws, Codes,  Rules and Fees

     2) History & Ethics

     3) Notarization of Documents and Giving Oaths of Office

     4) Forms & Standards for the Education System

     5) Medical Related Documents

     6) Last Wills and Testaments

     7) Real Estate Documents

     8) Banking and Financial Document

     9) Depositions, Subpoenas, Discovery.

     10) Military and International Documents

     11) Court Documents: Lawsuits, Petitions, Motions, Amendments, Paupers Oath, Divorce, Family Law

Sample forms will be reviewed and discussed to show the types of errors Notary Publics could be held responsible for in which they could face possible fines, imprisonment, loss of commission and civil liabilities.

We can forward Paper work for new Notary Public Applicants  as a courtesy after class training is completed. Your State  Application and Bond Application are forwarded to a Bonding Company, and they in turn process and forward the necessary documents to the Texas Secretary of State’s office. The State issues Approved Notary Public Commission usually within 2-4 weeks depending on their workload.  You must purchase your Seal(s) after you learn your commission date and not before.

Your Eleven (11) Certificates of Completion for each category issued by us will contain a photo of you on the certificate. So you must “EMAIL” a photo likeness of yourself to us.  The photo should be passport style, but we will “crop” photos as necessary before inserting in certificates.  The Certificates are presented at the end of class. You will receive two sets.  One for the office and one for home.

Class may be provided at different locations based on the number of students enrolled and time taught or in different cities in Texas.  Class time and location for Classes is assigned after Registration payment is received.  Class taught may be on individual or group basis.  Check with us for details.

Registration Must Be Prepaid 30 days before the class in order to have your Eleven (11) Class Certificates of Training printed with your name and signed in time for you to receive them at the end of the class and to insure your class material is ready.  Registration time may be shortened, if pre-approved by us.

No Refunds, but if you miss the class you can reschedule for $50.

Class (not State) Requirements: Students must be at least 18 years of age, a high school graduate, and a legal resident of Texas for 6 months or longer, and have NO CRIMINAL RECORD (excluding traffic tickets), a passport size photo must be emailed in,  and Registration paid as indicated above.

Classes are available every month in the following Texas Cities:  San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Corpus Christi, but classes can be set up for large groups in other Texas Cities such as laredo, Brownsville, Beaumont, etc.. In addition classes for large groups are also available to out of state cities, such as, but not limited, to Los Angeles, Boston, Toledo, Miami, Atlanta, New York, Las Vegas, Washington DC,( to name just a few) but fees will vary depending on individual state requirements for commission and bonding fees.

Many people get in trouble because they really do  not know what they are doing, or they are unethical, and often violate the law when this happens.  Many mistakes and errors which represents acts in violation of the law are probably done on a daily basis by many Notary Publics, including those in law offices, banks and credit unions.  This is usually the result of poor or no training, and failing to keep up with law changes.

Getting a Notary Public Commission is like getting a beginner's driver's license.  The driver has a license, but really doesn't know how to drive or control the car, nor have enough experience to know how to avoid skids in the rain, ice, or snow and may end up in an accident injuring or killing  people and possibly facing fines and/or jail.

An inexperienced or unethical Notary Public could face a $2,000 fine, 2 years in jail or both for doing the wrong thing. Furthermore, if the act of the Notary Public violates other state laws, codes, and statutes, the Notary Public could be held criminally responsible and  face misdemeanor and/or felony charges which are discussed in training.    In addition, the Notary Public could become a Defendant in a Civil Lawsuit.  Don't let this happen to you because you did not get proper training.  The choice is yours.  Make it the right one.

We are not an insurance company nor a bonding company for Notary Publics, but we do provide professional in-person training for those who want to be professional in actions as well as appearance.   You can find insurance and bonding companies  in most major cities.  You can also see the names of some on the Secretary of State of Texas website who are also offering on-line training classes, which we do not provide.    Your instructor has over 30 years of experience presenting seminars, lectures and workshops, as well as teaching experience  in the public school system with a Secondary School Level Teaching Certificate granted by the Texas Education Agency.

A professionally training Notary Public has a greater chance of being successful than someone who has not been properly trained.  The cost of the State Commission, the $10,000 bond which are good for four (4) years, and the proper supplies, and the Professional class, represent an investment you will have in yourself which will repay itself many times over. You can make money as an independent Notary Public working for yourself or as a valued employee who has the professional training and skills to provide professional Notary Public Service for your company.  Being a Notary Public is a special ability that you can take with you where ever you apply for a job.

Think about this:  If you were going to hire a secretary or clerk and two people applied with similar skills and experience, but one was a Commissioned Notary Public which would you hire?  If you had to fire or lay off one of two secretaries or clerks with similar experiences because the economy was bad, but one was a Commissioned Notary Pubic, which would you layoff?  Common sense gives you the answer to both.  Which clerk or secretary would you want to be?

We also provide Gift Certificates to anyone wishing to present one to someone who wishes to become a Notary Public or who is already one, but wishes to receive professional training.
