The Philadelphia Tour

The webquest all about Philadelphia!

Introduction

This webquest will lead you around the city of Philadelphia. Philadelphia is a historic city with many interesting places to visit. Each have their own special history and story.

The academic standards for this lesson are:

• Use capital letters correctly (first word in sentences, proper nouns, pronoun "I").
• Punctuate correctly (periods, exclamation points, question marks, commas in a series).

• Use complete sentences (simple, compound, declarative, interrogative, exclamatory and imperative).

Task

You and two friends have just been offered summer jobs as downtown Philadelphia tour guides. You are each told that you must become an expert on one historic part of Philadelphia. You are given the choices of:

After you each chose your subject, you will extensively research your topic so you can to become as knowledgeable as you possibly can to ensure a successful tour.
