A Non Government Organization is registered as a Society under Indian Societies Act 1860. Ngo Registration It takes a period of one to 2 months time about for the registration of Society from the date of filing of the application. A Society is formed at both state and National Level. Minimum 7 members are needed in the formation of society for state level where in case of nationwide level development, minimum 8 members are required from various state each. For society registration in delhi, one needs to supply one member from Delhi with Aadhar Card in addition to one address proof either electrical power cost or water expenses of any licensed place in Delhi. The main slogan of any society is the memorandum of association and regulations and rules (no stamp paper required), in which the aims and items and mode of management of the society must be enshrined. A Society requires a minimum of 7 handling committee members; there is no ceiling to the number managing committee members. The Board of Management is in the form of regulating body or council or a handling or executive committee. They can form guidelines and policies for that specific branch under the given conditions.
