Welcome to my New Edition fan site!!!A website dedicated to Ralph Tresvant,Ronnie Devoe,Ricky Bell,Michael Bivins,Jonny Gill.I made this site to give New Edition the the Recognition,Love,and support that they deserves.
New Edition was formed in Roxbury,Mass.Where they met Ronnie's Unlce Brooke Paynewho choreogrphed New Edition's Dance moves.On the weekends they would do talent shows.They came in second place.That night Maurice Starr worte the song Candy Girl with went number 1 on the R/B charts.They had had other hits like Is This The End,Popcarn Love.The Oriainal 3 of New Edition was Bobby Brown,Ricky Bell,Michael Bivins.The 3 would perform around Boston together.Bobby,Ralph knew eachother when they were younger.they would DJ at local parties together.
Ralph,Ricky was in a play togher called Death After School.They also played Basketball Together.In 1983 they added a 4th Ralph as the 4th member.They came up with the name New Edition.In 1984 they added 12 year Ronnie Devoe who was in a local group called The Dramatics.In 1987 Bobby Brown was voted out of New Edition and replace by solo artes,superstar Johnny Gill.In 1988 New Edition begein working on their 4th album with Johnny Gill.HeartBreak was New Edition successful album selling over 3 millon copies.At the end of the 80s Ralph Tresvant,Johnny Gill wanted to go solo and Ronnie Devoe,Ricky Bell,Michael Bivins Wanted to stay a group.In 1990 Bell Biv Devo came out with Poison with went number 1 on the R/B charts.And in that same year Johnny Gill came out with with Rub You The Right Way.In 1991 Ralph Tresvant scord a top 5 hit with Sensitivity.IN 1996 New Edition came back together far a reunion tour.They did an album called Home Again.In 2001 Ricky Bell came out with "Ricardo Campana".In 2002 Bell Biv Devoe came out with"BBD"In 2006 Ralph came out with "Rizz Wa Fair".In 2004 New Edition Relase One Love.In 2004 Ralph Tresvant married Amber Serrano along the side of Ricky Bell, his wife Amy Correa On Ricky's Birthday.In 2009 Bobby Brown ,Ralph Tresvant,Johnny Gill forumed a group called the Heads Of State.
