Canning Pam's Meatballs

Pam was recently in a canning mood and started the day by dehydrating some venison and putting it in several quart jars. However, the highlight of the day came with her pressure canning of meat balls. She has in the past canned fresh fruit, an abundance of vegetables, a variety of different meats and even complete meals. When she mentioned to me that she wanted to can meatballs I immediately did some research to ensure that beats by dre it would be done safely and according to established standards. In all reality the meatballs can be canned in one of two ways. You could brown them in a pan while combining them with Italian style spaghetti sauce prior to placing in the jars or they can be raw-packed as we will be describing below.

As you start to prepare your meatballs let the canner start to heat up. Mix all of the ingredients listed above by hand; make the meatballs using a 1 teaspoon measuring spoon or a ready built meatball spoon. Pam usually uses the meatball spoon and she works with a quarter of the venison at a time. The remainder beats by dre headphones will be placed in the refrigerator until needed. Place the meatballs into the jars and leave approximately 1 inch of head space. Add the hot lids and carefully tighten the jar rings. Process the jars in a pressure canner for 75 minutes for pints and 90 minutes for quarts at 10 pounds of pressure.

The above recipe does not use broth which makes the complete procedure simple and quick however you can add either broth, water or sauce after the meatballs have been placed in the jar if you so desire. If you desire a tomato based meatball flavor for spaghetti you can add that at this time. If you have dr dre headphones meatballs which used herbs in the recipe then the sauce you use should be plain. On the other hand if you are using plain meatballs then the sauce can have herbs added. Regardless of what is in the meatballs the processing time will still be 90 minutes for quarts. Keep in mind that anytime you can meats you will process the quarts for 90 minutes.
