Our Mission Statement Here At My Fresh Beginning
My Fresh Beginning Recovery is dedicated to providing superior housing for those who have the desire, skills and abilities to transition to independent sober living.
Our houses support recovery by providing comfortable rooms, nutritious meals , group therapy sessions , attending outside meetings and various 12 step programs.
At My Fresh Beginning we know that abstinence is a journey that requires courage, commitment and perseverance. Our mission is to offer clients a living environment enabling a sober and productive life.
Here at My Fresh Beginning we practice the 12 step spiritual based program and run group therapy sessions Monday to Friday 9 am to 10 am and A.A Big Book readings from 10:30 am to 11:30 am All Clients are expected to attend 3 outside A.A or N.A meetings a week with 1 in house mandatory meeting on Wednesday night
We are a zero tolerance home on drug use
We would like to thank the late Arthur Day for his generous donations and funding towards Knight Castle Recovery & My Fresh Beginnings Only with his help were we able to move forward assisting people and helping to save lives.
Arthur Day was a VPD drug squad detective from 1970 to 1980. He was a major crimes detective during the 1980's. He was also a policeman in Kenya, Africa; and Queensland, Australia.
Arthur had a vision of helping people in addiction. In his final days he made a generous donation from his hospital bed, enabling Knight Castle to open two more recovery houses

Gareth Day : Founder / Owner
Active : 2010 to 2017 (Deceased)
Profile : Gareth Day was a VPD constable from 1980 to 1989. Unfortunately he became addicted to cocaine to deal with the trauma he witnessed daily in Vancouver
He also worked in the Downtown East Side and attended hundreds of drug overdose deaths and homicides, shootings and stabbings in his 9 years on the forceHighlights & Qualifications For Ravindra "Ravi" Kissun
