I am so excited with the work I've been doing in my incubator of the studio. There is really a homemade sign across the door of home studio titled, "Womb". Creative ideas are born within this environment and i am very fertile at this time. :) Before I'm finishing a production, I'm hearing a brand new song during my head, taking notes and recording the minds therefore it is not lost forever. Some ideas flow easily, others I need to just work at nurturing them into our planet. And this is the great thing about this space I'm in. There's nothing like this process of creation and i am conscious to keep the ideas flowing and remain within this space.
Exactly what a beautiful gift to get and share. I can't express how lucky Personally i think in order to create music and even more lucky in order to share my creations with other people. It's a thrill to try out my original music for people who have heard me cover other artist’s music for so long. Their surprise is exhilarating and feeds my hunger to help keep going.
The task: We have spent so long during my musical life emphasizing “The Music” and never the lyrics. When I’ve learned cover songs, learning the lyrics may be the hardest thing personally. I hear the music and not the language. It’s strange but, it’s how I’ve processed my craft over the years. So, there's a new learning curve for me personally, and if anyone has this same excitement about learning something totally new that’s close to your heart, you already know what I’m experiencing. And I’m challenged willing and able to turn into a better songwriter.
