This is the First in this blog. Although most of this is about Radio and Television Stuff, I will also post some other off-topic stuff whenever I feel like posting it. Anyways, let me start here:

Iowa/Illinois: Cumulus Media is Testing it's new Online Audio Streams for it's stations in the Quad Cities Radio Market. They own KQCS (Bettendorf), WXLP (Moline), KBEA (Muscatine-Davenport), KBOB (DeWitt), and KJOC-AM (Davenport). Only one heard today was KJOC-AM, however WXLP's had been being tested. Cumulus does have Online Streams for it's stations in Cedar Rapids-Iowa City (KRNA/KHAK/KDAT/KRQN). It is unknown if streams are in the works for stations in Waterloo and Dubuque or not.

 Iowa/Illinois/Nebraska: Coronet Communications, a division of Citadel Communicatons Corporation, no longer has WHBF (Rock Island), WOI (Des Moines), KMEG (Sioux City), and KLKN (Lincoln) on DISH Network due to a dispute. DISH states that Citadel is asking for a price hike, however Citadel says that they are not raising prices and DISH is being unreasonable.

WDLM-AM 960 (East Moline, IL) was reported Off-The-Air by DXMid-America.

KJAN-AM (Atlantic, IA) has dumped it's Adult Contemporary format for News and Talk.
