Introduction

Homecoming  weekend is a very special event  for all  students, parents, and members of the community. It is one day, amongst others,  that the community comes out in support, united, and happy to be together.

Part of the weekend is the parade that takes place during that weekend involves handmade floats designed by  classes of students within the school. These floats move from the middle school to the high school before the big football game. They are an important part of the festivities and should be made very carefully!

As a community member, and a proud student, you want to make next year’s homecoming the best, most memorable one that anyone has ever seen. As a very responsible young adult you are starting your work now! Yes a half a year in advance!

Your seventh grade class advisor tells you that your budget is $1000.00 for next year to make a float representing your school and the sport teams.
