« Business Meeting » A commitee meeting was held onboard ship,in attendance were representatives of the following families: Gatling, Jackson, Lyons, Richardson, Shamburger/Stewart. Minutes from 2005 were read by Lae (Betty)Lyons (Secratary), the treasurer report was given by Ora Belle Richardson (Treasury) The Group discussed ideas for the 2009 Family Reunion. Locations suggested were San Diego,CA. Disney World,FL. New Orleans,LA. Myrtle Beach,SC. New York,NY. Niagara Falls,NY. Williamsburg,VA. to name a few, and it was decided by vote to pursue the top three locations. San Diego,CA. New York,NY. Myrtle Beach,SC. During the discussion it was suggested that since we do not have host families in these locations and to broaden our possibilities that we consider using a travel agency to assist with the planning and was agreed on by the majority. Three different agencies will be contacted by commitee members Nathan Richardson, Lae(Betty)Lyons, and Deborah Richardson to get tentative packages for each location. The agency that provide the best package deal will be the agency that we will work with and once a determination is reach there will be a mailing and posting on this site to vote on the location to hold our 2009 Family Reunion.
