Welcome to Media Crazy: the one site with forward, painfully honest
reviews of all the top (and bottom) games of the season.
This site has been created for one purpose: to share the creators' passion for all
things gaming...that and possibly getting some endorsements.
We all know that a life without
video games is just a life that, quite frankly, isn't worth living.
And if you had to live it,
it would be excrutiating, nauseating, and probably a little gassy.
But fear not, loyal Mario/Crash Bandicoot/Master Chief/"whatever your console of preference is" fans!
We are here to make sure that not only is
our life filled with all things gaming, but that the dream of a pixelated world will never die.
(footnote: poetic, aren't we?)
We will try to keep everything up to date to the best of our abilities.
Any questions or comments,
you can either sign up to post on our blog, or email us at mediacrazy@yahoo.com.
In the mean time,
Live long and prosper,
may the force be with you,
and all of those other painfully cliche things that gamers supposedly say
...I don't even like Star Trek...

Heavy Rain:The Origami Killer

Written By Jay Cathcart

With all the hype for the holiday season about all the big blockbuster titles like Gears Of War 2,Fable 2,Little Big Planet,Fallout 3, and many more. We often over look games that arent big blockbuster titles. There is one game inpaticular that I am speaking of. The game is called Heavy Rain:The Origami Killer by french studio Quantic Dream and director David Cage. If these two names don't sound familiar they should, their other project was a game called Indigo Prophecies. If your a gamer and you haven't played this game then I recommend you stop reading this, get $20,and go buy it right away. I can't remember another game that pulled me into it and made me feel like I was actually affecting the characters. It was dark, suspenseful, and holds one of the best endings in a video game you will ever see. However despite how great this game was it was overlooked becuase it got lost in all the hype of the holiday season. That's why I am writing this article, to ask gamers to please give a few Btitles a chance this holiday season. Just because they don't have the same hype as all the blockbuster titles doesn't me they aren't great games. I promise you pick up Heavy Rain when it releases early 2009 and you won't be disappointed.

Steve Jobs made alot of big announcements at the Apple Press Conference this week. One of the biggest announcements for Apple was the release of over 60 games for the Apple Iphone and Itouch. Steve Jobs and Apple are obviously looking to make some noise in the portable console business. With over 60 games being released the rumors about Apple getting into the gaming industry may be true we will hopefully hear more on the subject in the near future!

In January I signed up for a website called InstantAction.com. The Goal of this site was to give gamers a chance to play good quality games online with other players for free. And not only do you get to play the games for free, but you actually get good quality, full length games. The best feature about this site is it can be enjoyed by any gamer of any level. I found myself at one point questioning my masculinity because I was being powned by a 9yr old girl in Utah. So MediaCrazy is offering you the chance to signup today to get your free pass to Instant Action and a community of gaming.
