Hello Bleach fans
Bleach is reasonably an okay series. Full of action and comedy. But, due to the fanwars between couples, it's kind of tearing the fandom apart. I made this to prove there's not going to be any couples as of now, in Bleach nor should it have any (unless if the couples are MasakiXIsshin, KaienXMiyako, etc,). Think of it this way. Each of the canon couples had either one spouse (or both in Kaien and Miyako's case) die. So how would putting canon couples do anything unless if you want the spouse(s) to die? Look at Gin and Rangiku. They would've been canon but Gin died. Same could happen if any couple attempts to become canon.
Also, the series has ONE more arc. How about waiting until it's done to fap into your shipping war crud. This even applies to ANY anime/manga series yet to be finished. But, cause I know Bleach well enough than say, Naruto and One Piece, I'll stick back to pointing ot why there might not be ANY couples in Bleach, either as of now or never.
IchiRuki VS IchiHime
This is rather huge and lively when it comes to the het fandom within bleach. Who will the main character end up with? Will he end up with the ferocious masculine yet beautiful/handsome Rukia, or the kind, big-breasted beauty, Orihime? Seeing Ichigo throughout the manga, it's safe to say he has not yet developed ANY romantic feelings towards ANYONE in the show, despite him being paired with various males and females in the fandom. This is what prevents EITHER couple from becoming canon. Keep in mind I'm a RukiHime fan so don't feel sad when I point out the flaws within both of these couples. As nice as they are, neither will not be canon (Sorry if there are more flaws in one than the other. It's not intentional)and I know what I ship isn't canon but it's not like I care anyways.
IchiRuki
-Rukia kicking Ichigo is NOT something romantic. Only comrades do that.
-Rukia's a shinigami and Ichigo is human. Due to having different lives, how can they see eachother like how Ichigo see his other friends and be in a romantic relationship?
-Their bond isn't superior than everyone else's bonds with Ichigo or Rukia. Did ANYONE even consider the fact their bond is different not superior? Ichigo can't treat Rukia the way he treats his friends because she's a SHINIGAMI, not human. It would make no sense if Rukia was in the same level of bond like the other nakamas to Ichigo. For example, can you treat a bunny the same way you treat a cat? No, cause they are two different species! Same rule applies here. Ichigo treating Rukia the same way as his friends is giving a bunny the same treatment meant for cats. It won't work! However, I admit the bond is strong in the sense it's the first time in the series did a shinigami and a human have such bond. But, it doesn't convey ANY potential romance between the two.
-Fillers won't support your points no matter how much Kubo was involved in each one of them. Movies promote fanservice beause they go based on popularity. It's another way for them to say to fans, "Because of your devotion to this series, we would like to give you a gift for it". Why I say this? Cause Fade to Black is not "proof" to make IchiRuki canon. Ichigo CATCHING Rukia is not promoting a couple. Would a real friend have his friend fall face flat on the floor? Of course not! Ichigo was being a nice friend and NOT let that happen to Rukia. He would've done the same for ANY of the nakamas in Rukia's situation. I would go further but I'll save that for next time (like the fact she remembered Renji first THEN Ichigo). Filler arcs follow the same way. Both are meant for fanservice and popularity. FIllers even give time for kubo to work on his manga cause 1 episode per week> 6-10 chapters per 2-3 months.
-She's like a mom/older sister figure to Ichigo (you can tell by how much she swears at the poor sap compared to Renji being only called a moron).
IchiHime
-When Orihime is in danger, Ichigo goes beserk as hell and loses track of his battle. This is proven during her injury from Yammy, Loly and Menoly grabbing onto her with Loly threatening to rip her eye off, Nnoitra for threatening to remove her tongue, etc. Only time he didn't go THAT ballistic was when he was facing acid wire but that's important in a different way since that occurred before Seretei arc.
-Ichigo doesn't even notice her feelings for him while those around him (minus the shinigami except for Rangiku) do know and Orihime makes it totally obvious. Hence fans do have a point that it is one-sided. Even in the two year time lapse, he still is clueless of her feelings regardless of spending time with her (hence how he knew where her apartment is and what number as well as returning the manga she gave him)
-She's determined to fight and is smart whenever Ichigo's not around. (aka, the Ichigo ruins her character issue) She tried fighting Yammy {resulting Tsubaki getting destroyed but fixed by Hachi}, she fought a hollow that was trying to devour her and Tatsuki and won, she was the one that thought of going in disguse as shinigami to prevent being caught, she even SLAPPED an espada on the face, she refused to heal Ichigo knowing Grimmjow would try to kill him, etc. What do all those scenes have in common? Ichigo wasn't in ANY of them/was unconscious. As for the time lapse when she was talking to Ginjou while healing Ichigo, that just means her character improved. She is able to talk strong when necessary even if Ichigo's there witnessing it. Until she can keep that up in the series, this reason is still valid for anti IchiOri fans to use.
-The holding hands looking at HM is not canon as it never happened in the manga. SO, that reason is out the window.
-Both having orange hair indicates nothing. If anything is discussed about physical features, it would be about how much they look like biological siblings than friends. Orihime could be a long lost sister of Ichigo for all we care! XD (not really but still). If they're paired for their looks then it's just like Azureshipping (Kaiba X Anzu) in Yugioh all over again.
See? Both of these couples have their flaws. Its up to fans to prefer which flaws they can deal with when shipping. Hell, I've met RenRuki/UlquiHime fans, yaoi fans, and yuri fans. You don't see them overly bickering (except for yaoi fans arguing if Ichigo is either Seme or Uke but I could care less since I ship shonen ai/yaoi without seme uke and the stereotypes following) about their couples and I think SOME IchiRukis and IchiHimes need to behave as such. Now knowing there are some sane IchiRuki fans and IchiHime fans, this is NOT for you. It's for the fanbrats who tend to be canon nazis on couples that aren't even proven to be canon. Even though I only mentioned IchiHime and IchiRuki fans behaving like this, I understand that there are GrimmHime and UlquiHime wars and shipping wars on anime shows like Naruto, One Piece. I jut chose to focus on the IchiRuki VS IchiHime war/debate cause that can be caught and explained easily than the other bleach fan wars when it comes to couples.
