~Tracy Harmon and Nick Beausoleil-the REAL golden couple~

Tracy pauses, as she looks into Nick Beausoleil's face. Standing outside in the hallway, she watches as he leans up against the door. His face tired as he finally allows a smile to creep onto his face

Nick-"Tracy. What brings you by?".

Tracy-"Derek and I were worried about you, when you didn’t show up last night."

He looks down into the face of his little boy, standing by Tracy's side, then back up at her.

Nick-"I'm sorry about that. With the rain and all…"

Tracy-"And your "wife" running all over New York attacking people."

Nick-"How did you know about that?".

She shoves a newspaper at his chest.

Tracy-"Your crazy wife, made the front page."

Nick-"Tell me your lying…"

Sighing, Nick steps away from the door, letting them both inside. Taking the paper and unfolding it to see Alyssa, himself and Ali in the lower left corner of " The Times". A resourceful patron of the café, making good use of their camera. His face now even paler then before, Nick scans the article, before tossing it down on the coffee table.

Nick-"Jason is gonna kill me.."

Tracy-"He should kill your "wife". She is the one who caused the scene."

Nick sits down on the sofa, reaching for his cigarettes. Derek climbing up beside him.

Derek-"You alright dad?".

Nick-"Yeah…I'm fine."

Derek-" Can I watch T.V?".

Nick-"Sure go ahead."

Nick hands him the remote, then lights up. Tracy taking a chair beside him.

Nick-"Jason hates bad press… he is going to flip out over this hitting the front page of every paper in the city."

Tracy-" What do you expect when you have Alyssa running around loose?. This is what we mean by how she is dragging YOU and YOUR name down along with her's. Not to mention the CMF's."

He leans up, running a hand through his hair as he tries to think of a way around the problem.

Nick-"I know Tracy.."

Tracy-"It wasn't your fault Nick. Alyssa is unbalanced, we all know it."

Leaning over she picks up the paper.

Tracy-"THIS proves it. She is an embarrassment not only to you, your family, and the CMF, but to herself.. not that she cares, I'm sure."

Nick-"No, she don't care how she looks. But I do.. and so does Jason. this is press the CMF does NOT need".

Tracy-"So who is the girl in photo?. This Ali.."

Nick-"Some girl I met at the hospital. She works as a nurse there. I just took her out for coffee. I needed someone to talk to Tracy. All this stuff with my sister and Hayden.. it all just got too much and I thought maybe if I talked to someone else.. Someone who wasn’t involved. It might give me some new perspective on things. As you see, it didn’t turn out like that".

Tracy-" I understand what your saying Nick. You have been through a lot , your bound to feel overwhelmed".

Nick-"Oh I am well past feeling overwhelmed. I have moved into not giving a shit. Alyssa just doesnt understand what she is doing.".

Tracy-"Alyssa NEEDS to grow up and stop thinking we all envy her. Envy her for what?. She is a mindless crazy whore who thinks acting like a love struck teenager makes her look cool. She is far from being envied. We all LAUGH at her for being as stupid as she is".

Derek gets up from the floor, where he was watching cartoons. Walking over to stand in front of his father. His hands resting on Nick's knees.

Derek-"Can I have some Kool-aid?".

Tracy-"Honey, go watch cartoons, your dad and I are talking."

Derek-"But I'm thirsty."

Nick-"I don’t think we have any Kool-aid."

Derek moves his gray eyes up to Nick's.

Derek-"Can you get me some?".

Nick begins to smile, nodding his head.

Nick-"I think I might be able to. What flavor do you like best?".

Derek-" Red."

Nick-"Red?. Like what, Cherry or strawberry?".

Derek-" Uh huh.."

Keeping his grin, Nick picks up the phone and call downstairs, ordering any and all. red Kool aid. After explaining the odd request to the desk, he hangs up.

Nick-"They will bring it up soon."

Derek-" Alright!.."

Tracy-"Now go back and watch your cartoons, while your dad and I finish talking."

Giving Nick a smile, Derek happily walks back over to the T.V. laying down on his stomach watching his show.

Nick-"He's a great kid."

Tracy-"Yes he is."

Nick-"I need to find Ali, and see how she is. Provided she even speaks to me after this."

Tracy-"Again Nick, this isn't your doing. Alyssa doesn’t want you within fifty feet of another woman. ANY woman. She is obsessed with you, can't you see that?. She is smothering you.. I don’t see how you stand living with her."

Nick-"It was just a simple cup of coffee…"

Tracy-"Haven't you realized that NOTHING is simple when it comes to Alyssa… she is just bizarre Nick."

Nick-"It doesn't matter, once Jason finds out .. he is going to be up in my face wanting answers."

Tracy-"Maybe you could talk to Ali, see if she will drop the charges. Let this blow over.."

Nick-"I suppose I have to."

Tracy moves beside him now, leaning back on the sofa as she studies his face.

Tracy-"Nicky, what is going on with you?. You look so exhausted.. Your hands are shaking, you seem ready to snap."

Nick-"I…. its just…stress."

Tracy-"Its not stress, its Alyssa. She is making your life miserable. If you had to go to a stranger to talk about things … that should tell you how bad things are at home."

Nick-"I can't leave her Tracy."

Tracy-"Why not?".

Nick-"Because… she will always find me. She will never divorce me, she may kill me.. But she will never divorce me.".

Tracy-"Nick, come stay with Derek and I. We both love you, and will give you the peace and quiet you definitely need. We are your family, and this baby… needs their father. We don’t have to live in Greece; we can make our home anywhere. In France, where you grew up. London.. Here in New York.. Anywhere Nick. You got to get away from her, she is truly killing you."

A knock on the door is heard, as Tracy gets up to answer it Derek's order arriving. After tipping the man, Tracy brings Derek his drink, then turns back to Nick.

Tracy-"Come with me.."

Nick-"Where..?".

She takes his hand, bringing him to his feet.

Tracy-"I want to show you something."

She leads him into the bedroom, closing the door. Then, standing in front of him, takes his hand and gently lies it on her stomach.

Tracy-"You feel that?".

She watches his face, as within a few seconds, her baby moves. Nick's face lighting up as he smiles.

Nick-"I felt him move…"

Tracy-"You mean, you felt HER move Nick. We are having a little girl."

Nick-"A girl?".

Tracy-"That’s right, your having a daughter."

His smile grows as she sees the pride in his face. His hand still staying on her stomach.

Nick-" A little girl… I like that."

Tracy-"Nicky, this baby… Can be a new beginning for both of us. You, Derek, and I and our little girl can all start over, and have the life we should, together.. "

Nick-"I told you.. Alyssa will never leave me be. One of us, will have to die first.."

She wraps her arms around him, one of her hands then moving to the back of his neck.

Tracy-"Then… get rid of her…"

Her lips press against his, her tongue easing its way into his mouth, entwining with his. Locked together she feels his hand now sliding up her shirt as he eases them backwards, and to the bed. Laying them down, Tracy leans over him.

Tracy-"You can be happy with Derek and I , Nick. "

Nick-"Tracy I-"

She smiles, laying her index finger over his mouth.

Tracy-"I'm just making the suggestion. I am not demanding. I will leave that up to the thirteen year old child who feels she is your wife.."

Without another word, she leans back, pulling her shirt off. Running her fingers down his chest and to the band of his jeans.

Tracy-"But for now.. let me … help you… relax.."

She begins to undo his jeans, as a smile fills both their faces.

Nick-"Alyssa will be back…"

She leans over him again, her knees on either side of him, kissing him slowly. Moving back , she looks down into his handsome face.

Tracy-"Good let her see me. Let her see me in your bed… making love to you. I dare her to do anything about it. Its time she found out what she wants.. And what she thinks belongs to her. Isn’t so. I want you Nick.. And I shall have you.."

She kisses him again, slowly and with more passion then before. Feeling Nick responding to her, Tracy and he wrap themselves in each other's arms. The afternoon fading to night.
