Hii, My name is Madison Rae Pethel, I live in Salisbury and I am nineteen years old. I am attending Rowan Cabarrus Community College to obtain my degree in Web Technologies. Most of my web design knowledge was self-taught or I learned it from friends and some very helpful tutorials. I've become more acustomed to using CSS in the past few months. I've designed a few websites for a band that a few of my friends are in, and layouts (myspace, livejournal, etc.) for a number of others.
Web design is something that I really enjoy doing in my free time, along with my number one passion in life, photography. I realize that it seems to be trendy to be into photography right now, but it's something I am very serious about. I hope to have a career that combines my love of photography, web design, and graphic design.
When I'm not designing websites, going to school, or out being a shutterbug, I work at Port City Java. It's a great coffee shop in Salisbury that I absolutely love.
The photo at the right is titled 'Enchanted' and is one of my favorites that I have taken. Macro photography is the technique that I am most in love with. I'm always practicing, experimenting, and trying to top my last shot.
