Forever  



When it comes to loving you, forever is not long enough.
Yesterday runs in to today and tomorrow into now.
As we get older, our skin wrinkled and tanned from age, and our hair is greyer and thinner, we will still be just as much in love asthan the day we first met, stealing quick glances like two two kids in love!

While holding each other with all our might and strength, as close as possible, we sample the sweetness of each other’s kisses . We will be driving each other crazy with flirting glances, little winks and silly smiles and  the most tender of touches, not wanting to forget how it was when we first fell for each other.

I pray that we will enjoy the everyday things, never letting them become everyday hum drum boring and that we will be just as excited then as now, to wake up next to each other, ready to face another day together.
 Hand-in- hand, come what must, knowing that we can lean on the other if we need to, so we can make it.

I hope that through the love we share, in the future, others will see the love of God and that life is to be relished.
Enjoyed and treasured, that life can be so sweet that it makes honey sour in comparison to it.
That love is worth the risk and that it reaches more than just the emotions that it just grabs you and holds.

The flames of passion that burn high in our eyes for each other will burn even higher.
In the future, our petty disagreements will not matter because we love each other so much
With each passing moment, that love grows stronger, and it still affects us as now as it is a high beyond all highs

There, in the future, I can see that a spring will be in my aged step and a smile from one side of my face to the other, with a feeling of peace and comfort in the knowledge that you love me.
Every so often, stopping to smell the roses, and telling you that the roses, still in my opinion, still have nothing on you with beauty.

I hope my attitude towards life will be that it can only get better with you by my side, as we help each other through it, one step and one day at a time. enjoying life in the company of each other, going along at our own pace As life goes zipping by at its usual insanely fast pace, ignoring the beauty of small things in life.

As I have gotten to know you, there are many wonderful lessons you have taught me, like such as not to quit just because things get tough or they do not go the way I wanted wanted them to.

I Give My Heart

I give my heart to a woman who is kind and tender beyond measure, who finds it
possible to love me no matter what condition I am in, If I am in a grumpy mood
She knows how to get me smiling and laughing.

Through the storms and deserts of Life I find myself in at times traveling through she has encouraged, strengthened and supported me there as she walks by my side, she has given me a bright light
For the future when it seems so dark and gloomy!

When it seems no friends I can find to help in my time of need or distress, she taps me on the shoulder and smiles and gives me a hand when it means the most
and is needed the most, there are times when a smile from her does far better than any rose or riches ever could do.

She is willing to be herself when it is just she and I and that is a beautiful thing, for every time we are together or when we are apart she amazes me and holds me in awe of something she has said or done, though no one is perfect she makes me think she is close to it!

In those times I feel alone and down just with the simple thought of her bring a smile to me, and my heart starts to beat faster and stronger! She causes me
to feel like I can walk on air and fly with ease so great that it blows my mind, to hear her laugh is a high that will not harm me for it is right.
God had beauty in mind when he made her for her beauty is beyond the outside and goes straight to her heart her kindness knows no bounds No price is too high for it, gold is worthless compared to it
It is my opinion that all roses and beautiful flowers would wilt without her here;

My world without her seemed so cold and lifeless then she came along and spread
some sun shine and life in to it! She has taught me how to be braver than I
ever thought I could be before, and noble beyond words! She has taught me the meaning of honor and though at times I have failed her still she loves me?

But through these few poems I have no other way to express what she means to me,
for I could buy all the roses in the world and yet I think it would still not be enough to show how I feel about her to say that she means everything to me
seems so much like a understatement that it is not funny!
