The London Bike Ride

4 fearless riders (initially over 10 were supposed to turn up!) went for a 65 kilometers mission around London to raise money for Oxfam. After fighting against buses, wild animals and relentless pedestrians, they came back home victorious and these are the pictures to prove it to the future generations of the world!!!

10.30am - Last minute adjustements

10.45am - the smiles before the ride

10.55am – issues with brakes after 10 minutes

11.30am – and this is what came out when they were asked to express themselves freely

11.40am – we were awarding points for style and Paul was supposed to earn some for this but eventually we decided it didn’t count as that wasn’t his bike

12.15am – Dead end (and of course nobody knew who to blame for this)

12.45am – after 2 hours we finally reached Richmond

1.00pm – Did you know you can find wild deers in London?

1.00pm – Thinking of catching a deer for lunch

1.05pm – Pose for the camera

1.30pm – The only puncture we got was of course with the only anti puncture tyre we had

3.00pm – And if you get lost 3 maps can be very handy

3.30pm – The stress of city commuting

3.45pm – How do you park 4 bikes without using a wall?

4.30pm – After the deers of course we had to find a giraffe

4.45pm – Another pretty picture for the camera

5.30pm – Kit Kat break in Hampstead Heath

6.00pm – And of course every decent bike ride must finish with some chinese take away in Camden

6.10pm – Can you feel the subtle appreciation for food after a long mission?

6.30pm – and of course after some chinese food a visit to the nearest pub was mandatory (it took a while to convince Dani to have a Bayleys)

7.00pm – And after a pint tiredness was slowly starting to take over
