Suicide is becoming increasingly prevalent for adolescents. It is the third leading cause of death among individuals ages 15-24, and it is having a devastating impact on schools and communities.
The Good News...
Suicide is preventable. We must expose counselors, teachers, parents/guardians, and the students themselves to information such as warning signs, risk and protective factors, ways to cope with a suicide loss, and most importantly: how and where to get help.
