Man finally here I am with a web page to help other with the Dodge Transmission swap. The one I did was the A904-999 three speed to a A518 4 speed with over drive. In this web page I will tell you step by step how I was able to do this for next to nothing. The total cost was $667.95 for the total swap and install of the transmission. Here is a list of the items I had to purchase to perform this swap.

Here is the crappy A999 3 speed that I took out. Next to it is the almost new A518 that I pulled from a 2002 Dodge Dakota that I installed.
