“Guitar Hero Rocking Competition” Information and Rules Time and Date: Saturday April 25th from 1:00-5:00 P.M. or until tournament is over (with on-site registration beginning at 12:00 and ending at 12:55) Location: Lake Braddock Lecture Hall Entry Fees: - $10 for pre-registered contestants - $12 for on-site registration - $2 for spectators - Food and Drinks will be sold outside the Lecture Hall Requirements for Contestants: - All participants and spectators must be Lake Braddock Students - All students from grades from 7-12 are welcome - Bring student ID or proof contestant attends Lake Braddock (report card, etc.) Format: - X Box 360 Format - Single-Elimination in Face-Off mode - Bracket System, winner advances to next round - First Round everyone will play medium, next two rounds will be on hard and last two rounds will be on expert (subject to change depending on number of participants) - All contestants will play the same song in each round, with a different song chosen for each round, except for the final round - In the final round, the finalists will go against each other, with each contestant picking their song of choice in the face-off. If both contestants win one face-off then a tiebreaker song will be decided on. Equipment: - Personal guitars are highly recommended, they will be checked by event supervisors - Guitars will be supplied if contestant does not bring one Prizes: - ?
