Honky Tonk named teams co-captain

The LATE SHOW has named Brett "Honky Tonk" Buchanan as a team co-captain after his performance in the DBC game and his dedication to go the extra mile for the team. Buchanan had 13 points in the LATE SHOW Opener and offered to wash the team jerseys while Coach Aaron Gage is out of town for the game on August 20th. Coach Gage stated, "Honky is the type player the LATE SHOW likes. He can hit the outside jumper, clean the glass, and the jerseys. He is not afraid to do what it takes to win."
Buchanan joins Jay "Doughboy" Andrews as the teams co-captains. Coach Gage says, "These guys show great leadership, which is what we need right now after our near escape in our opener."
LATE SHOW game moved to Monday August 20th at 7:30pm

The LATE SHOW game against ATLANTIX originally schedule on August 23rd has been moved to Monday August 20th at 7:30 pm EST. The venue for the game has also been changed to Sandy Springs Baptist instead of Dunwoody Baptist Church.
ATLANTIX will be playing their first game of the season while the LATE SHOW is currently 1-0 after defeating DBC 50-47 in their season opener on August 9th. LATE SHOW will be without the services of point guard Aaron "dime slots" Gage on Monday, but expect a large contribution from backup PG Dennis Crilley.
The LATE SHOW is excited about their August 16th game against the Usual Suspects in which Randy "Xsquared" Satterfield will make his first appearance. Satterfield was a no-show at the teams first game and is sure to add some needed depth at the small forward position.
