Texas hold'em is a variant of traditional poker. It uses the same hand values as traditional poker. The game is simple to learn, each player is dealt two cards these are called hole cards. After the hole cards are dealt there is a round of betting. After this comes the flop, three community cards are dealt face up. After another round of betting comes the turn. The turn is one community card dealt face up, another betting round occurs. Finally the river is dealt, this is one community card face up, the final betting round occurs. The hands are than shown down the winner is the player that makes the highest five card hand using any of their hole cards or community cards.
